Environmental Health & Safety Statement
Intact Projects comply with the principals of economic, social and ecological sustainability, we are certified to AS/NZS ISO 14001:2004
Intact Projects is committed in principle and practice to the protection of the environment. We will maintain environmental responsibility in our activities by participating in the following best interests for the environment:
- Prevention of pollution to soil, air and water
- Recycling and minimising of waste
- Conservation of materials and energy
- Prevention of damage to flora and fauna
The above is achieved by:
- Developing environmentally sound construction practices and educational training
- Ensuring that the requirement for environmental responsibility is integrated into decision making and considered in assessment of performance
- Being alert to technical advances that may improve environmental performance
- Compliance with relevant environmental legislation and regulations, and adopt higher standards when considered necessary
- Providing the framework for setting and reviewing environmental objectives and targets
- Developing Project Management Plans for all Contracts undertaken by Intact Projects that are based on the principles outlined above
